Amity Spirit 

The word amity describes peaceful relations between nations and people. When nations go from being at war to being at peace and when people go from being enemies to being friends.

Amity Spirit describes the transition from being at war with your soul, and the world around you, to becoming integrated, whole and at peace. 

Amity Spirits mission is to give the opportunity for everyone to be able to find the amity within themselves. To create a ripple of inner peace that will flow out into the entire planet.

My name is Jade, my spiritual name is Amrita Krishan Kaur, and I am a local Kundalini Yoga instructor on the Gold Coast, here to share these sacred teachings with you.

What is Kundalini Yoga?

Kundalini Yoga is known as the yoga of awareness.

This technology as taught by Yogi Bhajan, is becoming the fastest growing type of yoga for the noticeable positive changes it leaves in the lives of its practitioners, mentally, physically and emotionally. It is designed for the householder and is powerful and effective at helping to cope with the busyness of everyday life, and to help calm the mind.  

Kundalini Yoga is a practice designed to strengthen the glandular system and the nervous system to safely activate the Kundalini energy that lays dormant at the base of the spine, 

We use a combination of 

asana (postures)

pranayam (breath work)
mantra (chanting)

mudra (hand position)

drishti (eye focus)

and bandha (internal locks) to begin to awaken this energy.

With a regular practice of Kundalini Yoga you begin to awaken this creative energy that lives inside of you, opening and clearing any blockages that may be in the way of you experiencing your true authentic self, and living up to your highest potential.

Amity Spirit holds regular Kundalini Yoga classes in the park on the Gold Coast.
